ภานุพงศ์ 'ไมค์' จาดนอก เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 26 ธันวาคม 2539 ปัจจุบันอายุ 27 ปี การมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองที่ผ่านมาคือการเป็นแกนนําปราศรัยในการชุมนุมเรื่องการใช้พระราชอํานาจ งบประมาณ และกฎหมายมาตรา 112 เกี่ยวกับกษัตริย์วชิราลงกรณ์ ส่วนข้อกล่าวหาก็คือการละเมิดมาตรา 112 จึงถูกดําเนินคดีอาญาจากการชุมนุมประท้วงทั้งหมด 39 คดี ในจํานวนนี้เป็นมาตรา 112 ถึง 16 คดี ถูกศาลรัฐธรรมนูญวินิจฉัยว่าเป็นผู้ล้มล้างการปกครองจากข้อเสนอการปฏิรูปสถาบัน 10 ข้อจากเหตุการณ์ชุมนุมที่มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ วันที่ 10 สิงหาคม 2563 ระวางโทษคือการจําคุกคดีละ 3-15 ปี

ความเห็นต่อมาตรา 112 ของไมค์ก็คือ มาตรา 112 เป็นกฎหมายที่คลุมเครือ ตีความไม่ชัดเจน และขยายความเพื่อเอาผิดคนอื่น มีโทษสูงเกินไป และเป็นกฎหมายเฉพาะกลุ่มบุคคล อีกทั้งเป็นช่องทางเพื่อกลั่นแกล้งบุคคลอื่นที่เห็นต่างจากกษัตริย์ 

ข้อเรียกร้องของไมค์จากสังคมไทยและประชาคมโลก ก็คือการปล่อยนักโทษการเมืองทุกคนที่อยู่ในเรือนจํา หยุดใช้มาตรา 112 กับประชาชน และยกเลิกมาตรา 112 เพื่อเสรีภาพในการแสดงความเห็นอย่างเต็มที่

Panupong 'Mike' Jadnok was born on 26 December 1996. He is currently 27 years old. He bursted into the political scene in Thailand by serving as a core protest leader who often delivered speeches on the royal power, the wealth of the monarchy and Article 112. Because of his outspoken style, he has been charged with lèse-majesté. Up to date, he has involved in 39 court cases. Moreover, the Constitutional Court has accused him of "overthrowing the political system" because he proposed the 10-point demand for royal reforms. His role in the mass protest at Thammasat University on 10 August 2020 also led to another charge against him. If sentenced, Mike could be imprisoned for each case up to 15 years. 

Currently, Mike has been granted bail under conditions stipulated by the Thai court. This includes: refraining from participating in political activities, from insulting the royal institution, from leaving the country, and being obliged to report himself to the court once a month. 

His view on Article 112 is clear. To him, this law is at best ambiguous. Because of its absurd nature, it allows anyone to abuse the law for their own purposes. Furthermore, the punishment is too harsh. It has served as a weapon in silencing those thinking differently. 

Mike urges his fellow Thais and the international community to help put pressure on the government to release all political prisonners and to abolish the draconian lèse- majesté to allow freedom of speech.

112Watch 27 สิงหาคม  · Officially launched online now an exhibition "Faces of Victims of 112" showcasing 25 victims and their human stories. This is a part of the exhibition at LeRoy Neiman Gallery at Columbia Univ from 18-25 Sept. We will have a mobile exhibition in Chicago (8 Sept) and DC (14 Sept) too. Please help us spread the words on this.
